Easy Protein Banana Pancakes
High Protein Pancakes
Iām a big advocate of setting up your day as you mean to go one, and that means a protein packed, nutritious breakfast so you can feel energised and ready to take on the world! This pancakes hit that spot and they are so simple to make - simply blend all ingredients together like you are making a smoothie, then just fry them up - it really is that easy!!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp cacao (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
1 ripe banana (plus extra for topping if you wish)
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 cup plant based milk
DIRECTIONS
Blend the oats in a high speed blender or food processor until flour like consistency. Add in the rest of ingredients and blend until smooth.
Heat medium non-stick pan on medium heat.
Optional - add in 1 tsp coconut oil.
Pour out pancakes in your desired pancake size. Add in chopped bananas or frozen blueberries. Flip after a few minutes, when the pancake can move around the pan.
Serve with alllllll the maple syrup!!
