Hazelnut Praline Truffles

HEALTHY ‘NUTELLA’ VEGAN TRUFFLES

Ok so I think the title above says it all, and yes believe it! Healthy, vegan, hazelnut praline truffles - so in other words nutella - but vegan and healthy! Uhm yes, we’ll take 10 please. These are the perfect treat to make for friends, or simply make them for yourself because you are absolutely worth it!! They are the most decadent, melt-in-your mouth truffles!

Bonus: they only have 5 ingredients, and are so easy to make!!


INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup hazelnut butter
3 tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp coconut sugar (or to desired sweetness)
1/3 cup plant based milk
1/3 cup cacao butter


DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients except cacao butter into a food processor and process until smooth.
Melt cacao butter in a heat proof bowl over a pot of simmering water (not letting the bowl touch the water).
Then slowly add the cacao butter to the truffle mix until all combined (not over processing).
Pour mixture into a shallow bowl and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
Then using a TBL spoon measurement scoop a tbsp out and roll into a ball with your hands. Coat in crushed roasted hazelnuts.
Then place all the balls back in the fridge for 1 hour or the freezer for 20 minutes.
